Welcome to RyuBook! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the access and use of our online scheduling platform. By using the application, you declare that you have read, understood, and agree to the conditions set forth herein.

1. Definitions

Platform: the application, website, and other services offered by RyuBook.

User: any natural or legal person who uses the platform.

Service Provider / Freelancer: a professional who offers services through the platform.

Client: a user who schedules services through the platform.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you fully agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

3. Registration and Account

You must be over 18 or legally authorized to use the platform.

The information provided must be true, complete, and up-to-date.

The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password.

4. Use of the Platform

The platform acts as an intermediary between clients and providers, offering technological means for scheduling and managing services.

It is strictly prohibited to use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, offensive, discriminatory, or third-party rights-violating activities.

Any attempt to manipulate scoring systems, promotions, campaigns, or functionalities will be considered fraud and result in immediate banning.

5. Appointments and Cancellations

Each provider defines their cancellation policy, which will be displayed before appointment confirmation.

In cases of delays, absence, or non-compliance with the rules, fees or fines may be applied.

6. Points Programs, Benefits, and Promotions

Participation in points programs or promotional campaigns is optional, but once adhering, the provider undertakes to fully comply with the established rules.

If a client meets the requirements to redeem a benefit (e.g., free service, discount, gift), the provider is obligated to grant it.

Formal warning.
Temporary account suspension.
Permanent exclusion from the platform.

The platform may request proof or records to investigate complaints of non-compliance.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party companies (Stripe, PayPal, etc.), and we do not store complete card data.

Amounts due and fees will be informed before confirmation.

8. Responsibilities

Of the User (Client): Provide correct information. Respect provider schedules and policies. Do not use the platform to harm third parties or simulate false appointments.

Of the Service Provider: Fully comply with promised services and benefits. Respect cancellation and rescheduling policies. Do not engage in misleading or abusive conduct.

Of the Platform: Ensure the technical availability of the system, except in cases of scheduled maintenance or force majeure.

Protect data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and design of RyuBook are protected by copyright and may not be used without prior authorization.

10. Penalties

The platform may apply, at its discretion, penalties such as warning, suspension, or account exclusion in the following cases:

Fraud or attempted fraud.
Unjustified refusal to fulfill benefits granted to clients.
Improper use of the platform's brand or tools.
Violation of any clause of these Terms.

11. Platform Termination

RyuBook reserves the right to partially or fully interrupt its activities, close the application and/or website at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason, without obligation to compensate users or providers.

Any unused credits or balances must be requested in accordance with the policy in effect at the time of termination.

12. Content Moderation and Removal

The platform may, at its discretion, remove any content, advertisement, service, or information published that violates these Terms, applicable law, or is considered inappropriate, without the need for prior notice or detailed justification.

13. Exemption from Transactions Outside the Platform

The platform is not responsible for any transactions, payments, agreements, or services conducted outside the application environment.

Any relationship established outside the platform is the sole responsibility of the parties involved.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the quality, execution, or final result of services provided by third parties.

The liability for damages resulting from the service is exclusively that of the provider.

15. Dispute Resolution and Forum

Any disputes will preferably be resolved amicably. Failing an agreement, the forum of the city of Ota is elected, with the waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.

If desired, the parties may opt for resolution via arbitration, in accordance with current legislation.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms at any time, notifying users in case of relevant changes.

17. Applicable Law

This contract will be governed by the laws of the company's country of registration, also observing applicable international legislation.
